The Saint-Roch District: a Hotbed for Arts and Technology Downtown.
Since Saint-Roch was revitalized a few years ago, the City has sought to
promote the arts (which already had strong roots there), education, and
technology as neighborhood development tools. Saint-Roch is now a hub for
creative minds, culture, and new technologies that bubbles with innovation and
talent. Various Saint-Roch businesses specializing in information technology and
multimedia, particularly interactive entertainment, have teamed up to establish
Centre national des nouvelles technologies de Québec
(CNNTQ).
