Hosting Grand Prix Cycliste de Québec will mean significant traffic and parking restrictions in Old Québec and on Parliament Hill, the Plains of Abraham, Boulevard Champlain, and Côte de la Montagne.
From 9 a.m. on Wednesday, September 11, to 9 a.m. on Saturday, September 14, driving and parking will be prohibited on Grande Allée Est between Cours du Général-De Montcalm and Rue des Parlementaires.
On the day of the event (Friday, September 13) between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m., no driving will be allowed on circuit roads, and there will be no parking on these roads after midnight the night before.

During the event, some roads will be closed to drivers. Access to areas inside the circuit by car will be especially restricted. Access points are set up in each of the 10 zones. Police will be posted at these crossings.

Pedestrian crossings will be set up in many places along the circuit, except near the start/finish line on Grande Allée Est.
Use them to cross the race track safely.
On Friday, September 13, circuit roads will be closed to vehicular traffic from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and parking will be prohibited from midnight the night before.
Traffic will also be affected and parking prohibited on certain neighboring streets. The City recommends that motorists plan their trips in advance and follow the temporary detour signs posted for the event.

Do you have an appointment at Hôtel-Dieu on September 13? Would you like to visit a relative there? Make your life easier—take one of the free shuttles provided especially for you by RTC from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Temporary stops will be located in front of Gare du Palais and at the main entrance to Hôtel-Dieu. You can park nearby ($) at Gare du Palais or the courthouse.
To drive to Hôtel-Dieu de Québec, use the point of crossing in zone 1 (french only). The entrance is on Rue Saint-Nicolas. You can use Côte Dinan or Rue Richelieu to exit the zone.
