The City of Québec will host the 2027 Canada Winter Games.
Some 2,000 athletes will take to the streets in the heart of downtown Québec to prove their mettle in 19 winter sports. It will be a unique opportunity for spectators to see top Canadian athletes in action at breathtaking sports venues.
Interestingly, the very first games were held in right here in Québec 60 years ago, in 1967. That year, 557 athletes competed in 15 sports over a 9-day period. The resounding success of that first event paved the way for the Canada Games as we know them today.
The last Canada Winter Games were held in Prince Edward Island from February 18 to March 5, 2023. To get a glimpse of all the action, check out the photos and videos from the most recent games.
